Mary's Homestead Patent

No death certificate located.

In 1900 Census, Mary's brothers William and George were on Page 171B, but I didn't see Mary.

Haven't located them in 1910.

In 1920 they are on Page 197, lines 34-36
Anna M. is on line 35 - sister of head of household, William R.; female; white; age 56; single; born England; parents born England

In 1930 they are on Page 124A, lines 25-27
Mary A. is on line 26 - sister of head of household. William R.; female; white; age 66; single; born England; parents born England

Lillie M. DARROW 1889 - 1908

Lillie M. DARROW 09 Feb 1889 - 19 May 1908

I haven't located a Death Certificate.

I've determined that Lillie was Lillie PAULEY, her father, James PAULEY's headstone is very similiar and next to hers.

On 16 Jun 1900 - Twelfth Census of the United States, Lillie was enumerated along with her family - Clarks Fork Township, Bridger Precinct - Page 108A lines 17-23
Lillie's on line 19, age 11 b.Feb 1889 in Wyoming

Beatrice JOHNSON HOCKEN 1903 - 1929

According to her death certificate:
Vera Beatrice HOCKEN was born 04 Sep 1903 in Washington, Iowa.
Father was W.L. Johnson - born Kansas
Mother was Viola Nicola - born Iowa
She died of pneumonia following childbirth on 16 June 1929.
Husband Carl HOCKEN was the informant.
Buried 18 June 1929 at Bowler Cemetery.

Carl HOCKEN 1935

In the 1930 U.S. Census the following HOCKENS were enumerated in the Bowler area:

Page 124A,

on line 17 - HOCKEN, Dale H. - a nephew to head of household Faye ELTON
Dale was male; white; age 5; b. Montana; parents b.Iowa

on line 23 - HOCKEN, Rose - a granddaughter to head of household William L. JOHNSON
Rose was female; white; age 3; b. Montana; parents b. Iowa

on line 24 - HOCKEN, Beatrice - another granddaughter to William L. JOHNSTON
Beatrice was female; white; age 10/12; b. Montana; parents b. Iowa

Page 124B line 56
Carl H. HOCKEN who was boarding with the LOYNINGS
Carl was male; white; age 30; widowed; married at age 24; born in Iowa; as were his parents; and working as a farm laborer.

I'm assuming that Carl H. was the father of Baby Carl HOCKEN, and the other HOCKEN children listed in the 1930 Census. His late wife, Beatrice was a JOHNSON, as was Faye ELTON's wife, Audrey. So, by 1935 Carl had remarried, and he and his wife lost this baby - who is buried next to Beatrice HOCKEN.
